How do you practice consent ?

The practice of consent is an ongoing,
dynamic, embodied inquiry into
noticing, trusting, valuing and communicating
our needs and desires,
our boundaries & limits,
what we want & where we are willing
and creating clear agreements with others.

It is a practice of cultivating integrity.

A consent practice builds the skills we need to
engage in an increasingly polarized world:
the ability to access our sense of embodied choice,
the knowledge that our choices matter,
the grace to speak/hear Yes and No,
the ability to consider how power, privilege and trauma
affect choice - and how to use what power and privilege we have to create more choices for those who have fewer choices.

Consent is a practice that cultivates self-trust and trustworthiness.

Consent is a practice that cultivates ease, joy, pleasure
and love in relationships.

Consent is a practice of sharing power and creating equity.

Consent is a practice that builds empathy and resilience.

Consent is a practice that heals.
